This Is How Daniel Went from Army Soldier to Owner of a Successful Google Ads Agency
I want to share with you Daniel's story about how he managed to build and scale his Google Ads marketing agency with the help of Business Mentor Insiders (BMI).
Daniel’s agency helps businesses get more leads, get more subscriptions, and ultimately sales to grow their business, and fulfill their vision. Before he joined BMI, Daniel says that he didn’t have any marketing knowledge and no idea how to run a business. But he had a desire to learn the necessary skills so that he would be able to become self-employed after his time in the army came to an end.
In the summer of 2017, Daniel stumbled upon BMI’s video content about how to start your first business. He especially liked how unlike other online programs BMI was not trying to make it seem easy to start a business. They were open about how hard it would be and that it won’t go all according to plan. Daniel loved the honesty and so in 2018, he joined BMI while he was still serving in the Army.
What Did Daniel Learn from BMI?
Daniel was initially looking at starting a photography or videography services business, but after discussions with BMI, he decided to focus on online advertising. Daniel says that BMI opened his eyes to the fact that you don’t have to be an expert in online advertising to build a business in the advertising industry.
Through BMI Daniel learned that the most effective way to learn the business skills required to start a business is to use a proven business model that has worked for many other people, it’s a great way to get ahead of your competitors. The ability to implement a tried and tested business model helped Daniel to jump-start his business and save years of his time and thousands of dollars.
Being able to speak to people who have already achieved the success that you’re after, was amazing according to Daniel. He says that if you want to save time, save resources and not make all of the mistakes that other people made before you, you need to work with the mentor, and you need to collaborate with people more successful than you. Working with the BMI instructors helped Daniel to clarify his goals, and to create a ‘vision’ for the next five years of his life. From speaking to more advanced members, you discover things that you would never even think about unless you’d invest multiple years of your life discovering it. So, it’s a huge time-saver for people new to the world of business.
Communication skills were another area where Daniel got a lot of value out of the BMI program. He says learning how to communicate within a business setting by understanding where you stand, how you present yourself, what you communicate to other people, and understanding what the other party wants from you is key.
Where Is Daniel Now?
Daniel and his company are adding new accounts every month and he has grown his team to five people. He now spends the majority of his time running his business and collaborating with his team on a daily basis to get new clients and deliver awesome services for his existing clients. Daniel says that all of this wouldn’t have been possible if he didn’t join BMI, without BMI he says it would have taken him years of trial and error to get to where he is today.
Who Should Join BMI?
According to Daniel, if you are considering joining BMI you need to have a vision of what you want to get out of the program and where you want to be in five years’ time. You need to know where you are going.
If you are prepared to put in the hard work and are willing to learn then BMI is a great option for you. But Daniel says it’s important to think of joining BMI as a long term commitment, once you have learned yourself and started a successful business you should be prepared to give back to the community by contributing your knowledge to new members. Overall, the more work you put in, the more you will get out of the program.
